My son has an addiction

I was in the kitchen cooking dinner and go back to the dining room to check on Hudson and I find the following!

Note to self: Do not leave Double Chocolate Muffins unattended with a Toddler.

I don't even think he ate 1/4 of the muffin. It was pretty cute though.

Also - notice the dynamite next to the "blown up muffin" LOL

Colors, Beautiful Colors

Hudson has been learning his colors at daycare. His favorite is yellow - when he says it it comes out as "yell-a". So tonight while Mike and I were discussing what we wanted to do with our dream house - we caught Hudson on the couch being really good and coloring in his coloring book he got from us for Christmas. It was pretty darn cute!

Day 3 - TEETH, TEETH

One of Hudson's favorite things to do in the bathroom currently is brush his teeth. As you can see from the video (sorry it is grainy) and from his photo, he is an AVID teeth brusher man. I am so proud of him. He is very good about reminding mommy after his bath that he needs to brush his teeth. At least his potty stool is coming in use as a step stool right now :)

Day 2 - Chillin Inside, Cold Outside

Hudson loves his cats. We have 2, both are rescue cats. Lily was our first addition back in 2007 right before we got married. We have had her since that September.

Then we ended up adopting a really little kitten which was found in a Bass Boat at Bass Pro Shops in Independence. Her name is Magnolia. Magnolia aka "Maggie" doesn't care so much for Hudson, but Hudson has taken a liking to Lily and she doesn't mind his rough love. These are a couple of the photos Mike got of the 2 of them this evening.

Day 1 - Happy New Year

One of the things I wanted to do (mainly because many of my friends also have a photo 365 blog) is start this blog for my kids. Photos tell stories, and so this is going to be my way of telling stories about the things we do with our child (Hudson) and future children as they get older. Thanks for enjoying our journey through parenthood and we hope you enjoy the photos as we go along.

So this is Hudson, chilling in our Topeka Hotel Room this morning. We were so lucky that he slept in - we took his pack and play (we had to dust it off from being in the basement) and went ahead and brought it with us, so he did really well sleeping in it last night. This is his "HAPPY NEW YEAR"face.
